I believe in providing a safe and consistent relationship to explore feelings and develop coping skills.  I feel that therapy is a unique partnership that focuses on your personal goals. I will help you learn and develop coping strategies, which will build on your strengths and cultivate confidence. My ability to engage people in a change process, through talk, play or art therapies contributes to addressing core issues. Therapy is an active process; your dedication, feedback, questions, and dynamic participation all contribute to your achievement of the most positive and satisfying outcomes to your goals. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which helps clients cope with trauma.

I have experience working in child welfare, community mental health settings, and private practice.
